Kenyir Lake is an artificial lake located in Hulu Terengganu, Terengganu, Malaysia created in 1985 by the damming of the Kenyir River. It is the largest man-made lake in mainland South East Asia with an area of 260,000 hectares. The lake has stunning landscape views and is an ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Lake Kenyir is also famous for anglers where there are various types of fish. The famous and always visited waterfalls are lasir, saok and tembat. Areas that were formerly mountains such as Mount Gagau and Mount Chergau.
