Gunung Nuang is 1493 metres high (4898 feet), located right on the border between Selangor and Pahang, near Hulu Langat. According to the hikers, it is a gruelling and strenuous trip particularly if you are going up and down in one day which is what most people do. It might not have a stunning view at ahe summit but its a gorgeous ancient rainforest all the way up. It would roughly take about 9 – 12 hours (depending on the hikers) to complete round trip, 20km. Some hikers even mentioned it’s a great trail to hike and condition yourself to prepare for Mount Kinabalu.
