This hidden gem is surprisingly close to Penang. Its existence has become quite well known among locals through word of mouth. Its location is in North Seberang Perai which is on the mainland rather than the island of Penang. As the place is literally an abandoned quarry, there are no facilities in the area since it’s not maintained or operated by a proper entity. The trek is a short but steep 20-minute climb to the top as there are sharp rocks and edges.
