It’s next to Brunei on the island of Borneo, Gunung Mulu National Park and its main attraction the Mulu caves is one of the biggest protected rainforest areas in this part of Malaysia. The park is famous for its caves and the expeditions that have been mounted to explore them and their surrounding rainforest, it’s the most studied tropical karst area in the world.
