It’s an administrative centre for the state government of, Johor, Malaysia. Which named after the late Sultan of Johor, Almarhum Sultan Iskandar. One of interesting place in JB but rarely known to or visit by tourists or locals. The building architecture is combination of British colonial and Al-hambra (islamic) inspired design with nice landscape and gardens.
It is a popular place for photos and wedding shooting. There is guided tour of Bangunan Sultan Ismail organised by Johor Tourist Guide Association, which cost around Rm25-35 per pax and prior booking is required.
