Situated in the fishing village of Teluk Bahang, meet some adorable furry friends at Cat Beach Sanctuary! It’s a local non-profit organisation called Cat Lovers International Society, which aims to improve the welfare of the cats in Penang and provide rescued cats with a place to stay and be cared for.

Currently, the Cat Beach Sanctuary is home to over 300 cats and kittens that are looking for their forever homes! On top of that, the Penang state government implemented a Zero Strays Policy in 2014 and the sanctuary provides a safe shelter for rescued and homeless strays in Penang.
